The President Evolved.

Today, in an interview with Robin Roberts of ABC News, President Barack Obama endorsed marriage equality. This has been the hot topic of new websites and blogs for most of the day, so I don't really need to add my two cents to all this.  All I have to say is this:

Thank You, Mr. President.

I'm Mad As Hell, And I'm Not Taking It Anymore!

Bullying must stop!

  High school students must be able to defend themselves against bullies.  I just finished reading the news article and watching the video of this high school student who, after being seriously bullied, defended himself with a stun gun.  The school has suspended this young man, and is in the process of expelling him.  See link:

  Thankfully, this young man has the wherewithal to get his GED and get into a college as soon as possible.  My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.  Still and all, I'm mad as hell

This country is failing its children.  This country is failing to provide a safe environment for LGBT students to get a proper education.   This country is failing its LGBT citizens.  For some, bullying never ends.  This is unacceptable.
